Dr Babak Tousi is a board certified geriatrician with dual fellowship training in geriatrics and movement disorders. His clinical and research work focus on the cognitive, behavioral, and motor aspects of Dementia with Lewy bodies, Alzheimer’s Dementia and mild cognitive impairment.. He is currently the Head of Clinical Trials Program of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. He is associate professor of medicine at the Cleveland Lerner college of Medicine at the Case Western Reserve University.
He has been principal investigator for numerous clinical trials for Lewy body dementias, Alzheimer’s dementia and Parkinson’s disease. Recently, as a senior editor, I published a clinical hand book of Neuro-Geriatrics which helps physicians to approach these neurodegenerative diseases following a carepath.
