Prof. Andrzej Glabinski is currently the Head of the Department of Neurology and Stroke at the Medical University of Lodz (MUL), Lodz, Poland and also the Chairman of the Faculty of Neurological Diseases at that University. After obtaining PhD grade at the MUL he was a postdoc at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH, USA in prof. Richard Ransohoff’s laboratory. Since that time his major scientific interest is focused on the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis and other neuroimmunological disorders. He has published several original scientific papers in that field. His cumulative citations number - around 2 000, total Impact Factor – around 100 and Hirsch index = 24.
