Dr Antonio Scalfari is a consultant neurologist and honorary senior lecturer at Imperial College Healthcare Trust, London. Along with other four consultants, he runs the centre for treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and neuro-inflammatory diseases. From 2003 to 2006 he was research fellow at Oxford University (UK), under the supervision of Professor George Ebers. He obtained his PhD in neuroscience at the Imperial College in 2013, and was postdoc research fellow from 2013 to 2015. His research activity focuses on the study of epidemiology of multiple sclerosis, its long-term evolution and clinical/radiological factors affecting its prognosis.
