Irena Rektorova, MD, Ph.D. is Professor of Neurology at the Department of Neurology, School of Medicine, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. She is Head of the Movement Disorders Centre, and Head of the Applied Neuroscience Research Group, Central European Institute of Technology, Masaryk University in Brno. She acts as an associate editor for Parkinsonism and Related Disorders, Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease and Brain Topography journals. Her main interests lie in movement disorders, cognitive impairment and dementia, brain magnetic resonance imaging, and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation.
